Our Vision:

To worship God in spirit and truth with integrity, ability, and unity, and to lead others into His presence

Our Mission Statement:

The BICF Worship Team will seek to create an atmosphere that invites the presence of God, inspires people to worship Him, and incorporates the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

“To worship God in Spirit and truth”
“God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." – John 4:24
• Seek for greater understanding of who God is and how He desires to be worshiped
• Private worship comes before public worship – develop personal worship time

“with integrity”
“Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.” –Titus 2:7-8
• Maintain a proper relationship with God (Mat 22:37-38)
• Bible reading, prayer, accountability, repentance, character guidelines

“Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.” –Psalm 33:3
• Preparation: review and practice songs ahead of time, continue developing skills
• Look for opportunities to train and mentor others

“and unity”
“I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” –Eph 4:1-3
• Maintain proper relationships with others (Mat 22:39)
• Be slow in anger, quick in forgiveness, faithful in correction, obedient in love
• Commitment: be faithful in ministry, be on time for rehearsals and services

“and to lead others into His presence”
“Draw me after you and let us run together! The king has brought me into his chambers. We will rejoice in you and be glad;” –Song of Solomon 1:4
• Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit
• Lead by example – we can only take others where we ourselves have been
